Information we collect
Account details you give us (name, email, job title, phone, organization). Business information about startups from public and licensed sources such as patents, grants, crowdfunding, accelerators and universities. Content you create: profiles, saved searches, pipeline notes, introductions, messages, feedback and uploads. Billing details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store full card numbers. Basic usage and security logs.
How we use it
To run the Service: build company profiles, calculate scores, match startups with providers, handle introductions and messages, send the alerts you choose, process payments, prevent abuse, and keep audit records of sensitive actions.
Contact details of founders
Founder and company email or phone numbers are never shown publicly. Paying members can reveal them only within their plan limits, and every reveal is logged. Startups can ask us to correct or remove their contact details at any time.
AI processing
When someone asks for an AI research report, the startup's stored profile information and source records are sent to our AI provider to write the report. We do not send passwords, payment details or private messages. AI results are stored with a record of who asked, when, and which sources were used.
Who we share with
Service providers that help us run the Service (hosting and database, email delivery, payments, AI). Other users, only as the Service is designed to work (for example, a public profile, or messages you send). Authorities, when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
We send account emails (sign-up, password reset) and the alerts and digests you turn on. Every alert email has an unsubscribe link, and you can change alert settings on the Alerts page at any time.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. When you deactivate, you can no longer sign in; we keep records we need for billing, security, audit and legal reasons, and remove or anonymize the rest when no longer needed.
Your choices
You can view and edit your profile, change notification settings, deactivate your account, and request correction or removal of profile data through the Data corrections page. Depending on where you live (including Canada and certain U.S. states) you may have further rights to access or delete information; contact us to use them.
Security
Data is protected with access controls enforced in the database, organization-level separation, private file storage, and logging of sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
The Service is for business use and not directed to anyone under 18.
